Objectives: The course reviews the following components that comprise the body of knowledge tested in the CISM Exam. Instructors are Certified Information Security Managers (CISM) from a variety of industries.
Attendees will learn and attain: (1) Techniques for IT Security Management and (2) Skills for improving CISM exam success.
Course components and dates are: Saturday 05/01/2010 - Information Security Governance, Information Risk Management
Saturday 05/08/2010 - Information Security Program Development, Information Security Program Management
Saturday 05/15/2010 - Incident Management and Response, Post Course Practice Exam and Review
This program is presented in Group-Live format and is a Basic - Level, Specialized Knowledge and Applications - Category program requiring a prerequisite of a knowledge of Information Security concepts. Advance Preparation should include a complete reading of the 2010 CISM Review Manual before attending class.
Sessions start at 9:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM. Lunch, snacks, and drinks are provided.
