ISACA, a nonprofit association of more than 86,000 IT governance, assurance and security professionals in 160 countries, will offer three in-depth courses at the Dallas Training Week:

· IT Audit and Assurance Practices—This practice-based course is aligned with the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) job practice areas, and will address IT management and governance, tailored to the evolving role of IT auditors. It will include the development of process steps for each focus area.

· Information Security Management—This course aligns with the five Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) job practice areas and provides IT security managers the expertise needed to reduce risk and to protect the enterprise.

· COBIT: Strategies for Implementing IT Governance—This course applies Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) in practical situations and provides a performance measurement framework using COBIT metrics and the balanced scorecard.

“IT professionals are faced with increasing demands to reduce risk and effectively govern their enterprises’ information technology,” said Emil D’Angelo, CISA, CISM, international president of ISACA. “ISACA Training Week provides information security managers, IT auditors and IT governance professionals with expertise to successfully contribute to their enterprises’ overall IT health, and helps prepare them for the CISA, CISM and CGEIT certification exams.”
